Star Wars: The Clone Wars Review! Episode 4.12

Slaves of the Republic! Great episode!
I liked the quote at the beginning. The outfits worn in this episode by our four heroes were pretty cool! I especially liked Rex's helmet and Ahsoka's slave outfit! They really did a good job portraying the scum likeness of the Zygerrians in the beginning! It was cool to see Ahsoka grab the slavers arm stopping him from whipping the slave! The palace on the planet was pretty nice! I liked the resemblance to ancient Egypt!

The air scenes throughout the episode were cool! The governor's fear really made the atmosphere that much more realistic! It was strange yet nice, to hear the opinions of slavery from a slaver. I hated seeing the girl take her own life! It was a very powerful moment though, because of the fact that Anakin could have saved her, but had to restrain in order to possibly save hundreds more! The flippant opinions of life that the slavers held bugged me, but I guess that's the way it is with things like that. It was nice to see some hair movement again!

So we have had references to four of the six movies this season... we only need two more(Episode II and V)! It was nice to see that the Jedi are not all powerful again! The words of the queen were so wise, in a twisted, appalling way.

No major disappointments!

In conclusion, this episode was really well done and I enjoyed the depth of the lines, plot, and characters! All in all, great episode! Can't wait to see the last episode if this series next week! Until next time, MTFBWY!

Star Wars: The Clone Wars Review! Episode 4.11

Kidnapped! Really nicely done!

I think the caption a the beginning was interesting considering Anakin's past and the theme of the show. It was cool seeing Dooku using mind powers on the Togruta tribe leader. I love the air entrance shots in the ep! The speeder showdown was pretty cool, too! I'm glad we finally got to see some Ahsoka action in this ep! It has been a while.

I felt like I was watching an excerpt from Ep III during some parts. I wish they would have showed more of Anakin's feelings in the ep though. The Zygerrians were pretty cool! Though I wish they would have had more light-whip action in the ep. The whole bomb thing was kinda cool. I loved the distraction that Obi-Wan gave! It was so nice to see that Anakin and Obi-Wan had a bad hair day finally! haha The sniper droidekas were cool!

The whole scene where Anakin and Ahsoka jump toward the Zygerrian ship was really cool! And the whole monster scene was pretty neat! Again I wish the was more light-whip action.

The lines said in this ep were pretty good. I especially liked the ending conversation.

I really don't have any dissappointments, except that I wish there was more light-whip action(as I mentioned before). Also, the show, in itsself, wasn't very climatic... there were climatic snippets, but the show, as a whole, wasn't very climatic.

Overall it was a really cool episode and I can't wait to see more of this series! Until next time, MTFBWY!

Darth Maul...

Check out this new pic of Darth Maul from the Star Wars Insider! Also, check out these quotes from a preview of the book that the season finally of Star Wars seems to be based on! The book is titled "Star Wars: The Wrath of Darth Maul," which comes out New Years Day...
"Your legs?"
"That scum took it."
"The Jedi…you remember. I've brought a gift for you."
"For me? Food?"
"No. Something to regain your memory." ―Savage Opress is reunited with a near-mad Maul and presents him with a talisman from Mother Talzin.

I don't really like the fact that Maul is coming back, but I will still try to keep you informed about it! Until next time, MTFBWY!

Star Wars: The Clone Wars Review! Episode 4.10

Carnage of Krell!
AHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!! (I will explain this.)

Overview: I'm going to have a hard time writing this one! It's going to be extremely difficult to write this without giving anything away, for those who haven't watched the episode, but still would like to read my review. I can say one thing, I LOVED KRELL!!!!! He was sooooo much better in this episode!!!! Especially at the end!! I was left completely speechless at the end of this episode! It takes you on twists and turns you never could have expected! Congratulations to the writer of this extremely, and utterly, epic arc! I also do believe I know now why Anakin was called away from the battle... Major spoiler in next section, DO NOT READ IF YOU WANT THE FULL AFFECT OF THE SHOW TO REIGN IN!... I think that Anakin was pulled away so Krell could do what he was planning on doing. End of spoiler section.

Characters: Oh how well the characters were done! They really built the characters up and made them more real and just that much more your favorites...or least favorites!
-Rex, Fives, Jesse, Dogma, Tup: Rex was very inspiring in tonight's episode! He was just incredible! What a leader he was tonight! Fives was just incredible! Jesse is a really cool clone! Fives and Jesse's lines in this episode were really good! Dogma, again this is hard to do without spoiling, he earned my liking tonight! Tup has really, really grown through this whole experience! He's a really good clone!
-Pong Krell: I don't even know where to begin... and really, I don't know what I can even say...so all I'm going to let go to you is, he definitely earned my liking in this episode! Especially at the end, but pretty much throughout the entire episode!

Disappointments: NONE WHATSOEVER!

Conclusion: This was the best episode in TCW, imo! It really brought the arc together and made the arc the best arc in the series, imo!(yes, even better than the Geonosis arc!) The arc, and the episode, topped my favorites list tonight! Season 4 really is standing up to expectations! I rate it a 1,000/10...ok, ok, I guess I can't do that, so I'll settle for 10/10! Let me know what you think in the comment box below, or on my facebook page! Until next time, MTFBWY!

Star Wars: The Clone Wars Review! Episode 4.9

Plan of Dissent!
Awesome!

Overview: I'm gonna keep this simple... WOW! It was incredible! Absolutely the best episode of the season! And I'd definitely venture to say the best episode in the series! The action, animation, plot, and lines were all breath taking and made for a great episode!

Characters: Really well done on the characters(characters that aren't listed were, in my opinion, summed up in my last review, Episode 4.8)
-Rex, Fives, Tup, Dogma, Hardcase, 501st: Rex, man he's really making me proud! I love his honor, respect, and loyalty! Fives, well, I love his lines, but I think he has taken it a little far now. I hate to even somewhat agree with Krell, but they did step out of line. Though I do not believe execution is necessary! Tup, I like Tup, he's just like a puppy! haha, He's loyal and sweet and funny! Dogma is a stickler for rules, plus it seems like he cares more about himself than his brothers. Hardcase, I don't even know where to begin! He has become such a favorite of Star Wars fans! Major spoiler in next few sentences for those who have not yet watched this episode... It seems like Hardcase, not only is just like Hevy, but rather, and exact copy! Why, oh why, did they have to kill him off?!?! Though I am glad he died an honorable death! End of spoiler... The 501st are just awesome! They have really grown over the years!

Disappointments: None really!

Conclusion: As I said earlier in this review, the best episode of the season! It was incredible! I can not wait to see more episodes like this! I do hope Anakin comes back in time to save Fives and Jesse! Also, anyone else been wondering if we are going to find out why Anakin even had to leave? I rate this episode 10/10! Definitely my favorite, and probably most people's! Let me know what you think either here or on my facebook page!

If you haven't yet seen this episode, you can watch it on StarWars.com or MasterToons.com! Here, Plan of Dissent(SW.com) or Plan of Dissent(MT.com)! And see a preview here, Carnage of Krell preview(SW.com)! (note: videos may not be available in all areas.) Until next time, MTFBWY!

Star Wars: The Clone Wars Review! Episode 4.8

The General!
Simply amazing!

Overview: First of all I loved the words in the beginning, "The path of ignorance is guided by fear," and I'm just wondering if this could be telling us something about Krell... anyone else think about that? The battle scenes were just incredible! They were in depth, well thought out, and some of the best in CW(rivalling 2nd battle of Geonosis battle scenes!) Umbara, in its self, is just amazing! Beautiful scenery, advanced technology, etc. Although, I have been wondering why they can't breath the air of their own planet.... anyone else notice that?

Characters: The lines were really amazing and the debating scenes were almost breath taking!
-Rex, Fives, Tup, Dogma, Hardcase, 501st: Well done Rex! Throughout the whole episode he had good lines and they really put a lot of thought into him in this episode! Fives was awesome! His lines were really good and it was so funny seeing him trying to fly the Umbaran starfighter! Tup seems to be growing a little through this battle. Dogma had some good lines in debating and such. Hardcase was really cool! As I said before, he is definitely the new Hevy! "I don't know, could be fun!" "...made me, hyperactive, I guess..." haha, he's so funny! The 501st was simply incredible! TCW has really come along with their story lines and battle scenes!
-Pong Krell: I had a defense for him last week, but after this week, I really can't think of anything in defense of him.

Disappointments: I don't have any real disappointments for this episode!

Conclusion: This episode is definitely the best of the season! I rate this episode 10/10(don't compare this rating to last week's rating though, that one does deserve what it has, and so does this one, but the amount better of this one than that one is more than I can make it.)

If you haven't yet seen the episode you can watch it on StarWars.com or MasterToons.com! Here, The General(SW.com) or The General(MT.com)! And watch a preview of tonight's episode here, Plan of Dissent preview(SW.com)! (note: videos may not be available in all areas.) Until next time, MTFBWY!

Fan Art, Pong Krell!

General Krell! Some people like him, some people hate him, and some people have a little bit of both toward him, but everyone can agree, he at least looks awesome! Hope you enjoyed this week's post! Not sure what I'm doing next week yet. Until next time MTFBWY!

Fan Art, Jack-O-Lanterns!

The pumpkins I carved this year!

Here is a view from a "daylight" perspective!

Individual view of Separatist emblem. This one wasn't my favorite... It was extremely difficult(aka, the hardest one) plus I had to do a little bit of modifications to make it work. It still turned out ok though.

This one's probably my next favorite up the line! First of all, it's the Republic emblem! That's awesome in itself! Second of all, I really like the way it turned out! And it wasn't that difficult!

This is probably my next favorite! I mean, who doesn't love the Sith emblem?!?! Plus I love the way it turned out! This was probably the third most difficult, but it was fun!

These last two are tied for my favorites! Star Wars and the Jedi emblem(which looks even more amazing on a pumpkin!) The Star Wars one was probably the second most difficult, but I'm really surprised at how well it turned out! The Jedi emblem was also a surprise to me! Hope you guys liked 'em!

What do you guys think of my Jack-O-Lanterns for this year? Let me know in the comment box below or on my facebook page! I had so much fun doing these! It took me three days! Hope you like them! Thanks for reading! Until next time MTFBWY!

Star Wars: The Clone Wars Review! Episode 4.7

Darkness on Umbara!
Awesome!

Overview: It was pretty good! Good storyline, pretty good lines, nice battle scenes, an ideal episode.

Characters: Most of the lines and characteristics were done well.
-Anakin, Rex, Fives, Tup, Dogma, Hardcase, 501st: Anakin was, well, Anakin, haha! He was his awesome self! His lines were pretty good, and they definitely stayed true to his character! Rex was amazing as usual! His lines were pretty cool! Fives was really cool! He had some nice lines! Tup was cool for a rookie! His lines definitely matched that of a rookie! Dogma was cool, his lines were ok! Hardcase was awesome! He's bringing Hevy, in my opinion! The 501st was, in general, great! I loved their loyalty to each other!
-Obi-Wan, Pong Krell, Umbarans: Obi-Wan was great! His lines were in character and...awesome! Krell was really cool! He was strict, however, in my opinion, this is not the same type of thing as Commander Wolffe. He is just a stickler for rules and not that great at strategic planning. The only line I thought was mean was when he asked the clones if any of the rest of them wanted to play with the animals. The Umbarans were ok. We didn't get to see much of them, but they seemed good at planning attacks anyway.

Disappointments: No major disappointments in this episode! It was "an ideal episode" as I said earlier!

Conclusion: Best episode of the season so far I think! Maybe not the best in the entire series, however, I think this four part series will be the best series in TCW! If not it will be second only to the Geonosis series! I rate this episode 9.5/10!

If you haven't yet seen this episode you can watch it on StarWars.com or MasterToons.com! Here, Darkness on Umbara(SW.com) or Darkness on Umbara(MT.com)! Watch a preview for next week's episode here, The General preview! (note: videos may not be available in all areas.) Hope you enjoyed this post! Look for my review up next Friday or Saturday! Until next time MTFBWY!

Star Wars: The Clone Wars Review! Episode 4.6

Nomad Droids!
Not extremely excited about it, but it was ok!

Overview: First of all, what a spin-off of ANH! First we see a quote from that movie, then we see a nearly similar attack of the Republic ship as in ANH. I thought that they could have come up with something a little more original. I was doing ok, but then they threw us into a Wizard of Oz scenario! Then I really thought, what a non-original. I'll expound more on these things in the "Disappointments" section of this review.

Characters: The characters were ok.
-First planet natives, second planet natives, pit droids, pirates: The natives on the first planet were, well, strange, I thought. The second planet natives were pretty funny! Then they threw in the pit droids and it just made that planet! Well we don't see much of the pirates, but from what we do see, they were ok.
-Plo Koon, Adi Gallia, Gallia's Clones(could someone please remind me of their legion number?), General Grievous: Plo Koon is, awesome, in my opinion! It's sad he didn't get to say much, but I loved his line, "I'm certain Commander Wolffe would love to hear about it!" Adi Gallia, in the few shots she was in was pretty cool. It was sad, cool, and funny all at the same time when she flew by in the background! I loved her expressions at the end! Her clones were cool, but I wish they looked more like they did in Episode III. General Grievous was good at fighting in this ep! However, I felt his lines were weird.

Disappointments: I didn't like that they didn't come up with an original piece. To add onto that, the episode was pretty rushed: starship to planet to planet to starship to starship. I felt they could have left out the first planet and it would have been much better! I realize that this would mess up the Wizard of Oz story line, however, that would have been fine! I thought it was funny when Plo Koon said "Very Good" after Wolffe tells him that Grievous has fled. I thought it was kind of strange when the natives to the second planet walked in and blew themselves up...

Conclusion: I liked the part were R2 figured out the secret of the pit droids! It was funny when 3PO knocked R2 on the "Big Hazu(sorry if that's not spelled right)!" I liked the people of the second planet! They were so dumb, yet so funny! I loved the part were R2 blasts them with the engines! Overall, it was a pretty good episode, not the worst of the season, but not the best either. I rate it a 5.5/10.

If you haven't yet seen this episode you can try these two sites, StarWars.com or MasterToons.com! Here, Nomad Droids(SW.com) or Nomad Droids(MT.com)! Star Wars: The Clone Wars Review! Episode 4.5

Shadow Warrior!
Pretty cool!

Overview: I felt the plot was good! The shots and animation were amazing! I didn't really like the clones in this episode(I'll explain more later in the review). Most of the lines were pretty cool(key word most though, again I'll explain more in a minute). It was exciting to see more of the Phase II troopers! I thought the locals were so funny!

Characters: As I said before most of the lines were pretty good!
-C-3PO, R2-D2, Commander Wolffe, Clone Troopers: C-3PO was funny, as always! He always makes me laugh! They definitely stayed true to his character! R2 was also funny! Him and 3PO make the best team! Commander Wolffe was pretty cool as far as outfit and electronic eye go, but I thought he was pretty rude! Someone I know explained to me that the war is just having it's toll on the troopers and this is the way that some clones are dealing with it. However, I still feel that his character in this episode did not accurately depict his character in ANY other episode he's been in. The Wolfpack has a cool design, and it looks even cooler in Phase II! Although, I also thought they were somewhat rude at times. The way I put it was, "You don't have to be rude to someone just because you don't understand their language and culture!"
-The Aleena, the tree people, Orphne: The Aleena were so funny and cool! I thought they were also very nice! They could be strange at times, but they were pretty cool most of the time. The tree people were strange, and I felt they were a rip-off of the Felucian natives. Most people think Orphne was weird, but I thought she was pretty cool and necessary for the plot.

Disappointments: As a follow up of what I said before, I didn't like some of the lines that were said. Specifically said by the clones. They were not very kind! This isn't a personal disappointment of mine, but my friend said that it would be cooler if they had the earthquakes caused by the Separatists. They would try to cause Orphne to join them and when she refused they would cause the earth quakes. R2 and 3PO would find Orphne and she would tell them why the quakes were happening. They'd get to the surface and tell Wolffe and we'd get to see some Clones fighting Separatist. I personally thought the plot was fine, but that would have been cool too.

Conclusion: I loved this episode! It really made me feel like I was watching the original trilogy! I especially loved the scene toward the beginning when it showed the ships landing on Aleen! It was just breath taking! Now onto what I have to say to those who are sick of these episodes as soon as one comes up... Not everyone is always going to like every episode that Filoni puts out there! However, I feel we need the variety! I like it anyway, but the analogy I've always used is that it's like the weather... if it was always 70 degrees and sunny out, we wouldn't know that was good weather and we'd most likely get bored with it... it's the same way with the episodes, if we always had action packed episodes all the time, we wouldn't know that those were the cool episodes and we would probably get bored with them. And besides, just keep looking forward to Umbara! I give this episode a 8.5/10!

If you haven't yet seen the episode watch it now on StarWars.com here,Mercy Mission! And watch a preview for episode 4.5 here, Nomad Droids preview!(note: videos may not be available in all areas.)

Fan Art, Commander Wolffe!

First time in a long time that I have had 10 pictures! Hope you enjoyed! A special shout-out to Ruari Williamson(of the Separatist Destroyers Blog)who really likes Commander Wolffe! A few of these pictures express what he has been explaining to me in defense of Commander Wolffe's last appearance where I thought he was somewhat rude. Thanks Rauri for explaining this to me! Hope you especially enjoyed this post! By the way, I plan to have the review of this past week's CW episode up tomorrow! I'll be posting the review of this week's episode hopefully Saturday! Until then MTFBWY!
