I can't say enough how much I love these episodes.

And somewhat hate them at the same,

but that is the reason I love is so much!

It is such a well crafted story!

It was great seeing Ventress and Ahsoka

(My to favorite Clone Wars characters)

Working together, and the connections between them.

I was sad to see that it was Barriss who set Ahsoka up,

I always loved their friendship,

 but of course the part that was saddest was definitely the end.

The tears start coming every time 

as soon as it hits the "welcome back" scene.

You know she made the 'right' decision, 

but it doesn't make it any easier.

Okay, done with the emotions...

I have to say, by this time in the series, 

the idea of Maul was growing on me.

Still don't think he should have survived, 

but these episodes are definitely some of the best in the series.

I was really excited to watch these episodes again!

Another droid ARC. 

Although this one is better than some of the others.

Especially in animation, which was simply amazing!

Especially in the last episode with that awesome explosion! Haha

It was one of the better combinations of humor and action.

Although we all hoped to one day again see Gregor,

 but that would seem nearly impossible now that the series is over.

Maybe we'll get to see more of him in some other form.

Sorry I didn't get this one up until now!

I had a considerably busy weekend, and then I forgot about it....

I really love these episodes!

It was great to see Ahsoka help train the next generation.

Although, I do believe they changed the story of getting your crystal(s)

and lightsaber a little bit, but it was still all pretty cool.

So, I'm still not happy about Maul coming back necessarily;

but I do now realize that it is canon, and I enjoy these episodes.

My favorite part is definitely when Kenobi and Ventress work together though.

It was just too awesome! Haha

All around though, the episodes were really well made.

The story and character development were great.

It would seem that the first half of most seasons were not quite too par with

any of the second halves.

Although I enjoyed the Onderon ARC, it held with this pattern.

It was a good ARC as a whole, but some of the lines were a little corny.

I still enjoy the episodes though.

This is such a great line up of episodes!

First of, one of the better four-part-arcs 

with Cad Bane, Obi-Wan in disguise, a bounty hunter showdown, 

and so many other awesome things! Haha

And then two of my favorite episodes of the series.

Before these two episodes I really wanted Ventress to die...

But, by the end of Massacre, I was glad she didn't,

And by the end of Bounty, she became one of my favorite characters!

I mean, how much better of story telling can there be 

than to change someone from your least favorite character 

to your one of you favorite characters in just two episodes?! Haha

So excited to be continuing the plan!

Week 15 of the plan!

So, I decided to postpone the plan a few weeks

since I was getting ready to go out of town, out of town,

and then the Fourth of July holiday.

So here we are starting back up again this week!

This Week's Episodes:

Kidnapped

Slaves of the Republic

Escape from Kadavo

A Friend in Need

I really love these episodes!

The Kidnapped ARC takes us to a place in Star Wars 

that we haven't really been before: slavery.

We've seen slaves in Star Wars, but we haven't really explored the subject much.

I thought these episodes did a really good job of showing 

how the Republic tried to keep it outlawed, 

how Palpatine clearly built his empire through slaves, 

and how the Zygerrians operate.

Not to mention the awesome for-shadowing of Episode VI!

And of course I love A Friend in Need!

Ahsoka, Luxsoka, a winter planet, and Death Watch.

That's all I have to say!

So, yeah, sorry about my absence!

I just haven't had the time recently.

But it's business as usual now,

Week 14! So, I've been really busy the last two days...

I made the picture late Friday night, but fell asleep before posting

and I had no time whatsoever yesterday...

But, anyway, here it is.

A LOT of people don't like the first two...

It's like the most stereotypical attributes of a Star Wars fan:

if the episode stars R2-D2 and/or C-3PO, then we must hate it?

I personally don't understand it...

The episodes may not be packed with action, 

but they still are well written, animated, and fun to watch.

It's the comic relief... Get a grip... haha

Sorry, but that's my opinion. There is not a Clone Wars episode that I don't like.

Of course, like any good fan, I do have my favorites!

And the Umbaran ARC would definitely have to include some of them!

Having waited since Season Two for another of it's kind,

we all, I think it's safe to say, thoroughly enjoyed the second four-part-ARC of the series.

I have always really loved the first two in this list!

For one thing, Ahsoka is my favorite character if you guys didn't know that. haha

And, also, we got to see Chewbacca in his younger days!

And they worked together! I mean, how much cooler can you get? hahaha

Anyway, I wasn't too fond of the next four when they came out...

I actually probably gave Shadow Warrior 

a better review than the other three, for whatever reason.

But they've all grown on me since and the little peevish things about it no longer bother me.

In the end, I'm just excited to watch these awesome episodes again!

I especially love the scenery shots at the beginning of Water War!

Such great animation!

Week 12! Already half way through! Wow! haha

Pretty much the entire second half of Season Three was amazing!

Many of the main characters got a great new updated look and the show had

awesome new story lines and action!

It was a turn for the better especially after many fans had disapproved of the first half.

I personally liked all of Season Three, but I do consider the second half a lot better.

I had another late night last night and I was just so exhausted

 so I'm posting this this morning. haha

I pretty much love all of these episodes. haha

Some are better than others, but they are all good, in my opinion.

I liked Ahsoka seeing another side of the Separatists:

the civil side. Plus I totally ship Luxsoka!

And I always love seeing what Padme is up too, 

and seeing her take matters into her own hands.

It was very interesting seeing Ventress's past and origins on this show.

I also really enjoyed Savage, although I was, at the time, disappointed to see Maul was coming.

The duel between Ventress, Savage, and Dooku was amazing though!

Week 10 of the plan!

Honestly, with the exception of Sphere of Influence,

 these are really my favorite episodes...

Don't get me wrong, I love them and love watching them,

they just wouldn't be considered for my top picks.

But I am excited to watch them again, and Bane is of course a plus!

I also loved seeing Baron Papanoida;

especially when he pulled out his blaster at the bar fight!

Totally awesome and unexpected! haha

And of course Echo and Fives were amazing!

I just feel like the episodes themselves were kind of lacking,

but still good! :)

I pretty much again love all these episodes!

Young Boba is just amazing! haha

And then I always love exploring the politics of Star Wars,

and seeing a few senators fighting is pretty fun as well.

Some people didn't like The Academy, but I enjoyed it.

I always love an episode with Ahsoka in it,

and seeing her face off against Aurra Sing was awesome!

Star Wars the Clone Wars 24 Week Plan

Week 8 of the plan! Sorry I wasn't able to get it up last week!

I was visiting my grandma in the hospital on Friday

and I've pretty much been crazy busy ever since...

This week's episodes:
Grievous Intrigue
The Deserter
Lightsaber Lost
The Mandalore Plot
Voyage of Temptation
Duchess of Mandalore

For these episodes, I just want to say I love all of them! haha

The Grievous episodes are amazing because of a few things:

Grievous, Adi Gallia, Rex, and a new aspect of the clones we got to see!

Lightsaber Lost was also a great episode for seeing more about the Jedi we hadn't seen before.

And the Mandalore episodes are obviously amazing because we meet Death Watch!

And we are also introduced to Obi-Wan's weakness

(although some people don't like that part because of Siri).

If you guys are still catching up(like me... haha) don't worry! There's still plenty of time!

And the idea is for it to be on your own time and schedule.

Just remember the last episode you watched and pick up from there! ;)

Week 7 of the plan!

This week's episodes:

Senate Spy

Many people don't like Senate Spy very much because there's not as much action

or too much politics... But I actually really enjoyed this one.

I have to agree that it was a little too "mushy" for lack of a better word.

Don't get me wrong, I love romance, but this just kinda felt forced.

I always enjoyed taking a peek into the politics of the Clone Wars though.

The Geonosis ARC is simply an iconic set of episodes!

For a long time it was the only four part arc,

and the animation hit a new high in these episodes!

Seeing four Jedi(and eventually two more) in one place was amazing!

The show did a great job of showing just how difficult the taking of Geonosis was

and how thorough the Jedi were this time in making sure they didn't lose it again.

These are all pretty great episodes!

I'll never forget watching the Season Premier of Season Two

 in my sister's basement with my nephews on a HUGE tv! haha

The zero gravity fight was just the coolest thing ever!

Bounty Hunters was also such a cool episode since we got to see bounty hunters work with Jedi!

The Zillo Beast episodes were also really cool.

Although, I wish they would've continued the story...

I have to say I LOVE all of these episodes! 

The Blue Shadow Virus ARC is one of my favorites of Season One

(I especially loved seeing Iego and the angels mentioned by Anakin in The Phantom Menace),

and I love the Ryloth ARC for a few reasons:

They are sort of stand-alone episodes that each use different main characters but tie in the story.

I also loved the character development of Ahsoka in the first episode

and the vulnerable side of the clones in the second one.

Overall, all of these episodes are just great, in my opinion.

I have to say I'm not a huge fan of the first four, but I think Trespass is a great episode!

I loved almost everything about it: the story, characters, animation!

Week 3 already!

This plan has already renewed my interest in The Clone Wars(and Star Wars in general)!

I'm sorry to say I actually got a little disinterested with Star Wars without anything new really going on for such a long time... :/ But now I seriously can't wait for each Friday when I get to share these episodes with you and watch them!

Rookies:

• This episode aired on October 24, 2008 and sparked what is probably the biggest sub-fandom of the Clone Wars(if that's a thing, haha) as it followed the well known Domino squad in their mission to protect the Rishi Moon outpost.  It is the fifth episode of Season One and the ninth episode in the complete story.  Although some of the squad might consider this post to be more than a little boring, they are in for a big adventure when a Separatist fleet attacks the post.  They will have to fight to let the Republic know of their troubles, or die trying. . .
• Written by Steven Melching
• Directed by Justin Ridge
• During the beginning of the episode a DJ dedicates a song to the clone troopers on Mimban which is a planet explored in the 1978 novel Splinter of the Mind's Eye.
• Who couldn't love this episode? It comes with all of the greatest things the Clone Wars has to offer: action, heroics, sacrifice, and explosions, haha.  While the show was still in its early stages they still managed to produce a great episode with characters we would love and remember long after.

Downfall of a Droid:

• This sixth episode of Season One comes in as number ten in the order of the story.  It aired on November 7, 2008.  Following an encounter in space with General Grievous, Anakin Skywalker and Ahsoka Tano must search for R2-D2 who mysteriously went missing during the fight.  Despite the fact of Anakin's attachment to the droid, Artoo is also carrying sensitive information that could harm the Republic if it fell into the wrong hands.  In "Artooy's" absence, Anakin is forced to get a replacement astromech, R3-S6, but it seems the new droid is a little slow.  Time is running out for the Jedi to find the missing droid before General Grievous does.
• Written by George Krstic
• Directed by Rob Coleman
• R3's black-and-gold color was a tribute to Davi Filoni's hometown of Pittsburgh, whose football team wears the colors.
• I personally really love this episode.  The beginning battle is incredibly interesting, and Anakin's tactics always prove to be amusing!  It's great to see R2 in some action of his own too.  I also really loved R3-S6, but sadly that kinda fell flat. . . haha

Duel of the Droids:

• Being the next episode both in Season One and chronological order, this episode aired on November 14, 2008 and continues the story of the search for R2.  It seems he has led the Jedi to a secret Separatist listening post the Republic has been looking for.  Anakin is instructed to destroy the post despite Artoo being on it.  Anakin, however, goes against Obi-Wan's wishes and searches for his partner, leaving the mission of destroying the base to his padawan and clones.  Grievous intends not to allow this and creates many obstacles for the crew, including an unexpected traitor.
• Written by Kevin Campbell and Henry Gilroy
• Directed by Rob Coleman
• The seats in Gha Nachkt's freighter, the Vulture's Claw, are actually very similar to those in the Millennium Falcon.
• This is actually one of my favorite episodes of Season One and really the entire series.  One reason I love it so much is because of how many times Anakin and Grievous come so close to one another, but never meet until Episode III.  This is only the first of many of those instances and you barely even notice the connection until you think about it again later.  Also, the combat and design in these episodes was great!  It was also pretty interesting as a child to watch R3 being a traitor, although I wasn't very happy about it. . .  I had the same optimistic view as Ahsoka.

Bombad Jedi:

• The next episode in Season One and the story line aired on November 21, 2008.  Here we see more of the political and comical side of the Clone Wars as Padme Amidala travels with Jar Jar Binks to Rodia to negotiate a relief effort with one of her oldest friends Senator Onaconda Farr.  He, however, has betrayed her and sided with Nute Gunray.  Padme is taken prisoner and Jar Jar and 3PO are forced to fend for themselves and hope to save the senator.
• Written by Kevin Rubio, Henry Gilroy, and Steven Melching
• Directed by Jesse Yeh
• The sea monster seen in this episode is modeled after an unused concept design by Ralph McQuarrie for a swamp monster inhabiting Dagobah.
• Many people don't like this episode because they don't like Jar Jar.  I like all Clone Wars episodes though, and I enjoyed the comedy in this one.

Cloak of Darkness:

• After Padme and Jar Jar capture Nute Gunray on Rodia, he is sent with Master Luminara Unduli and Ahsoka Tano to be transported to Coruscant to be tried for his crimes in the next episode which aired on December 5, 2008.  It would soon appear that Nute Gunray is even more important than previously thought as Asajj Ventress is sent to rescue him.  Luminara, however, underestimates the assassin and is nearly overwhelmed by her, but Ahsoka comes just in time.  The diversion was just what the sith apprentice needed for her inside man to retrieve the Viceroy and escape.

• Directed by Dave Filoni
• Gree took his name as an allusion to his interest in alien species such as the Gree, an ancient species living in the Outer Rim.
• One thing I really liked about this episode was seeing masters and padawans working with other Jedi than their usual counterparts.  The traitor bit was getting a little old though; but it did give us more insight into the minds of those working for the Grand Republic.

Lair of Grievous:

• When Ventress manages to escape with Gunray, the two are "foolish" enough to use a Republic ship, which can be tracked.  In the next episode, airing on December 12, 2008, Jedi Master Kit Fisto and his former padawan Nahdar Vebb are tasked with tracking down the war criminal before he slips out of their reach.  They soon find out that they are actually being led into a trap; but who is the trap actually for?
• Written by Henry Gilroy
• Directed by Atsushi
• There are many aquatic species in the Jedi Order like Fisto and his old padawan Nahdar who are from the water worlds Glee Anselm and Mon Cala.
• I really enjoyed the conclusion to this ARC!  And I loved the fact that they were three episodes that had a connection, but weren't really the same story.  Kind of reminiscent of the OT.
