Jedi Starfighter Comparisons!

Anakin's Jedi Starfighter is a rather simple design. It's a neat color, but it doesn't stand out compared to some other starfighters. I think they could have done a little better in designing this one.

Obi-Wan's Jedi Starfighter isn't the best of them either, but it is a nice color and the design is slightly better than Anakin's.

Ahsoka's Jedi Starfighter is very neat both in design and color! I love the way they made her starfighter and I think they did a great job on this one!
Next up is Plo Koon's Jedi Starfighter! I love this one! It is an awesome color with a very neat design that would stand out among the rest along with Ahsoka's!

Now onto the comparisons...recognize something? Yes it's true, Seasee Tiin's Jedi Starfighter is an exact copy of Ahsoka's, only green! Really guys?! It seems like the creators are running out of creative Ideas!

Again...recognize something? Adi Gallia's Jedi Starfighter is also a copy. This time they took the design from Plo Koon's starfighter. Again they only changed the color.

Conclusion: It seems to me that the creators of Star Wars took some time and effort into designing the main character's starfighters knowing that we'd see them a lot over time. But when it came to the smaller characters and their starfighters, things changed. It seems like they copied other starfighters thinking we wouldn't see these much.

Sometimes I really wish that they would come up with some better designs, but they are still all pretty good! Thanks for reading!

  1. Well if these are from the animated series, who pop out episodes on a weekly bases, i don't think it's them running out of creative idea's it's more like they ran out of time. Just rendering a 5 min. CG scene in Max or Maya takes a whole day. Think about a 20 min. episode. Not to mention they have to write a script, design and model EVERYTHING, record and edit voice, sound and music. ANIMATE IT ALL then render it and then ship it. You have a week, Go! They do a good job with this series from what i've seen. I think we can forgive a few repeat paint jobs lol.

    1. From what I can gather you are implying that the episodes are completely made week to week, which is entirely incorrect. If I remember correctly, Season 5 was completely finished and ready to premier before Season 4 ever even got to the Season Premier. They definitely have PLENTY of time, this is something they could have done better on, and no, I can't forgive them on it.
