Star Wars: The Clone Wars Review! Episode 4.16

Friends and Enemies! Pretty good episode!
Classic quote at the beginning, though, I'm not really seeing the relevance of it in relation to the episode. Obi-Wan is surprisingly good at playing the bad guy! He has great plans, and is thinking just like an escaped convict! I think this is the first time I've seen Bane even slightly weak!

It seems like Moralo would fall apart if he didn't have these two helping him, he acts like the leader, and the true bad guy, but he hasn't contributed anything to the plot so far. There sure is a lot of tension between Ben(by the way, I like the way they are using this name in the ep!) and Bane! I liked seeing yet another reference to Indiana Jones(the first hat Bane looks at)!

The animation throughout the episode was pretty good, the only thing I didn't like about the animation was right after Bane says "both" and they walk toward the market, Bane looked like a little girl walking in slow motion... Sorry for going back to this point, but, Moralo looked really tough in prison, but now he just looks like a coward...

I liked Banes line, "Here's your reward...I'm not killing you." That was a good one! Obi-Wan has been really good about planning ahead! The ships in this episode were pretty cool! I am really liking the way we have been seeing Obi-Wan in this arc! I like him a whole lot more now! Not that I didn't like him before, he's just been really cool in these episodes! I think they went just a little overboard with Anakin's feelings in the past episode, but I do like seeing him turning into an Episode III Anakin instead of only bending the rules occasionally. And I think this episode was pretty good in that respect.

"Don't tempt me," one of Obi-Wan's best lines in this arc so far! Now, something that is not really relative to the episode that I'm wondering about, is Rex's loyalty to Anakin, over the Jedi...the more we go on with this season, the more I realize that Rex might actually go along with Order 66. Back onto the episode... Palpatine's cockiness in this episode was pretty good! I'm not sure if he knows Ben is in disguise, but I'm thinking he does. Based on his actions. So I'm wondering of a certain bounty hunter knows as well...

The starfighter battle between Obi-Wan and Ahsoka on Orondia was really cool! I love Ahsoka..."Who else wears a hat like that?!" haha! Again, I really like the tension between Bane and Hardeen! The fighting scene between Bane and Anakin was really cool! Reminded me a little of Cargo of Doom, whose battle scene was better, but still. The crash scene was pretty well done! The battle scene between Hardeen, Anakin, and Bane was really cool! I liked it when Ahsoka jumped up to protect her master! I'm wondering what Anakin is going to do to, "get to the bottom of this"? Well, I guess we'll just have to find out in the next ep!

Overall this was a pretty good episode! I don't think it's living up to its four part arc predecessors, but it is pretty cool, and I have a feeling that the last two, or even maybe the last one, will tie in the story to make the entire arc at least as good as the others! Until next time, MTFBWY!

Star Wars: The Clone Wars Review! Episode 4.15

Deception! I liked it alot!

Interesting quote at the beginning... I like this new characters we meet in this episode! Anakin and Ahsoka have the best lines! Haha Even though I knew in advance that Obi-Wan wasn't dying, it still had me worried! That just goes to show the good suspense the show has been able to portray in this episode! The funeral scene was nicely done! I wonder how they're going to get all of that hair to grow back before the end of the war, haha. This guy Moralo Eval (sorry if I spelled that wrong, I haven't seen a spelling of his name yet) is really ruthless!

Obi-Wan looked so much younger without all of his hair... The technology in this episode is crazy cool! And a little grouse at times, haha! Raco's reaction to Obi-Wan was sooo hilarious, haha! It was awesome when Mace put Raco to sleep through the Force! I wasn't even sure if that was possible!

Anakin really scared me for a minute there! I love the way they are developing his character in preparation for Episode III though! I was surprised to see Obi-Wan do that to the shark guy, I forget what they are called. Although it was a pretty good line! He had a lot of pretty good lines in this ep! I thought, ut-oh, when he said that about the cell not being big enough for all of them. It was funny how quickly Obi-Wan got his prison mates to fear him!

I wish Boba and Bossk would've been a bigger parts I the episode! They made Boba look to old for his age though. Boss's was awesome, and the prison riot was awesome! I instantly got Bane's plan though. Well the basics anyway. I think it's strange that the two others didn't find it strange that Obi-Wan said it would take some time to get the door open, and yet it only took him a matter of seconds... I was wondering if Kenobi would actually shoot that guy... I can only imagine how sad it must have been for him to watch people needlessly die like that. Especially when he could have protected them! I liked the somewhat cliff-hangar ending!

Overall, very good episode! This season is really turning out to be pretty good! And, with only 7 episodes left, I can only imagine what they have in store for us!!! Until next time, MTFBWY!

Fan Art... The End or a New Beginning?

As many of you know, I've been doing fan art posts since I started my blog! Well, we may see the end of that because of the new bill, S.O.P.A. and P.I.P.A., that will possibly pass through the senate this Tuesday. So, this Monday will be a special, "The End or a New Beginning" Fan Art post, reflecting on the Fan Art posts we've shared throughout the time I've had my blog! And, really, just reflecting on the blog in general! This bill could shut me down. And it's not just affecting Americans, from what I've heard.

Before I go on to tell you about the special Fan Art post, I'll tell you what S.O.P.A. is, what it means for sites like mine(and people's private social networking sites as well), and what you can do.

Well, S.O.P.A. stands for the Stop Online Piracy Act. It will allow our government to delete pictures, and or sites, from the Internet if they feel they are violating copyright. However, this is more than just people trying to make things look like it is theirs... if you do not fully own something, you won't be able to put it on the Internet.

This will affect not only fan sites like mine, but also people's profiles on sites like Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, etc. If you don't fully own something, you can't put it on the Internet, AT ALL!

So, for obvious reasons many people are against it, and, tens of millions of people have been trying to defend their rights. In the past week alone the senatorial vote for "no" went from 5 to 35, leaving only 6 more "no" votes for it not to pass. People have been posting pictures such as these all over the Internet...

And a lot of people have put this picture as their profile picture on Facebook to show their dislike for the bill...

Anyway... moving onto more exciting things... this Monday will be the special post, as I said earlier. What it will be is a post reflecting back on my Fan Art posts by showing the top three Fan Art post, and the top three Fan Art pictures! All you have to do is go to my Facebook page, like it (if you haven't already), and then go to the albums Fan Art, Volume I and/or Fan Art, Volume II. If you see your favorite post in that album, go down to the bottom and comment, "My favorite post is (name of post)." Next go to your favorite picture (it doesn't have to be in your favorite post, and you can pic more than one), in the comment box write "VOTE." Have fun! I can't wait to see what your favorites are! And come back Monday to see what posts and pictures won! Until next time, MTFBWY!

Star Wars: The Clone Wars Review! Episode 4.14

A Friend in Need!! Great episode!!!!

I like the quote at the beginning. It was very interesting to see Separatists and the Republic talking face to face! I liked Padmé's outfit here. I realize Dooku doesn't die until Episode III, but sometimes I just wish someone like Asajj, Vizsla, or Lux would finish him already! Haha I know I said this in the last review, but Ahsoka really has grown in strength, fighting skills, etc. It was somewhat surprising to see Lux pull out a gun on Ahsoka, but with knowing that he was going to meet up with Death Watch, it didn't catch me completely off guard. I chuckled when Ahsoka took the gun away from him.

The planet was very pretty when they first got there! Nice animation there, especially with the blizzard later on! It was funny when Ahsoka came up with them being engaged! They had some really cool scenes of the planet.

I liked the scene when they entered into the base, it really showed the ruthlessness of the Death Watch. I find it hard to believe Lux came up with that plan. Lux grabbing Ahsoka and kissing here was quite comical! I wish they could have had a real kiss in the show, though. At first I didn't like Pre's new look(his face, I really like the new battle gear style!), but now I realize that it gives him a stronger battle-worn look. It was a little creepy seeing all of those droids. They were acting like zombies.

I was somewhat surprised to see Bo kick Ahsoka to the ground. The blizzard was a nice touch to create the mood. I loved Ahsoka's line to Lux when she gave him food, or a drink, whatever it was. I can't believe even Lux fell for the lie Vizsla told the natives. After seeing the town, I think that we have now seen a Chinese modeled civilization as well as Egyptian. It was so sad seeing the buildings burn, and the girl's last words! Then when Ahsoka jumped into action, there was a new since of hope! But then they crushed our hope and captured Ahsoka, which I liked because what I don't like it when they show the Jedi as all powerful beings that can't be beat. I kinda figured that the droids would help free Ahsoka and Lux. Duh, Lux, why couldn't you have figured that out a long time ago?!(referring to his line about them being murderers) haha Vizsla's face just before he was about to kill Ahsoka, was... disturbing. haha I love it when R2 saves the day! But I hate it when the leaders of different groups are so arrogant! "Stop! The Jedi is mine!" how often do we hear that? Too often!

Ahsoka pulled off some pretty awesome moves in her duel with Vizsla! The ending battle scene was very cool! With droids and Mando's fighting, Ahsoka and Pre dueling, snow flying everywhere, and Lux and R2 trying to escape! I loved it when Ahsoka said, "I didn't miss!" Ahsoka really does like riding on top of vehicles while repelling enemy fire! And she's really good at it, too! The fist fight between Ahsoka and Bo, was great! The ending was soooo sad! But at least it leaves hope for another episode with Lux in it! It made me shed a tear when they each touched the glass!

Overall, great episode! I can't wait to see more like it(particularly more of Lux and Ahsoka!) Until next time, MTFBWY!

Star Wars: The Clone Wars Review! Episode 4.13

Escape from Kadavo! Nicely done!

It was very interesting to see Obi-Wan as a slave, though I didn't like it one bit! The tactics that the slavers use to make slaves are so terrible! I love how R2 always seems to come to the rescue! Haha I was speechless when Anakin threw that slaver off the roof! The queen's plan was, pretty well thought out! I wonder if she came up with it on her own... if so, you have to admit, she's pretty smart! Even if she's such a twisted person. Anakin is pretty good at wielding a light whip! Sadly, not good enough, though. Ahsoka's piloting skills are really coming along! I wish Anakin could have saved the queen. I don't know why, I just don't think she deserved to die.

The entire ending was very well done! I think it was nice to see R2 get hit, it didn't hurt him, but it helped create the mood of danger in the scene. It was so cool when Anakin said, "who said I was alone?" and then all of the ships appear in space! The Zygerrian starfighters looked cool, but they were much too large in my opinion. I loved Plo's maneuver! When the floor began to recede I instantly thought that the cruiser should fly under the facility and the Togrutas should jump onto it. So I was surprised, even thought she's one of my favorite characters, that Ahsoka was the only one who thought of it! When the slaver was telling Kenobi he wouldn't kill an unarmed man, I knew Rex would be the one to finish him. It was nice to see that it didn't go all as planned, but all the Togrutas made it out! I loved seeing the facility fall! Ahsoka has become so wise since we first met her back on Christophsis!

Overall, I thought it was a great episode! I love how the story lines have developed over the years! I can't wait to see more episodes like this! Until next time, MTFBWY!

Fan Art, Obi-Wan Kenobi!
