Clone Turbo Tank Lego Review.

My nephew recently bought the Lego Clone Turbo tank and asked me to build it for him. I don't mind that cause I love to build them! Anyway, while I have it at my house I decided to do a review on it! My nephew bought it for about $120.00. I do not know if that is the best price, but he bought it at Wal-Mart and they usually are the best, so I bet it is.

First the characters! In this case there is also a command center and walker. The walker is very realistic! The characters are very detailed, though Anakin is not as good as recent sets. I love the way Cad Bane and Aayla Secura look!

These pictures are of the frame of the tank(top picture-front view, bottom picture-back view). The frame is very sturdy, I am surprised that they made it that sturdy because it is just one of the regular Legos.

There are two small storage compartments to keep some of the clone's gear in near the front of the tank. they are very neat, but a piece that is supposed to go in them stops the door from fully closing. It isn't noticeable, but if it was moved it could possibly open.

Views of the finished product(top picture-front view, bottom picture-back view). It turned out very neat! I really like the detail in this product. The size of it does allow for much detail that other Legos cannot have due to being smaller, but still, Lego Star Wars did a very good job with this one!

Tank with all flaps open(top picture-front view, bottom picture-back view). The tank has lots of flaps that can open, which allows easy access to the inner parts of the tank.

there is a nice compartment that can hold 4 guns. Or, if you wanted, it could also hold lightsabers.

The gunner on top of the rear of the tank is a very neat addition to the tank. The gun can move in many different directions as well as the seat being able to swivel.

The command center and walker easily slide onto the larger doors(one on each door). the storage is very nice and neat!

These are the front seats. The seat that the clone is sitting in has the controls. A nice feature that I like about this set is that there is a targeting computer here!

These are the rear seats. Each seat has a single control. There is no targeting computer on this side.

Conclusion: This is very neat set! I love its design and all of the characters! I really don't have any big negatives on this one! It took me a little over 7 hours to build, in which time I watched Episode 5&6! It was a lot of fun to build and would be an excellent choice for that aspect. The tank is very stable and would be ok to have a child play with. As all Legos you don't want to go around slamming it into things though. The turning of the tank is surprisingly easy. You simply press down on the side of the tank that you want it to turn to and push it! Over-all I think this is a great set and can't wait to get it for myself!

Thanks for reading! Hope this helped you with your choice on whether or not to buy it!
