Star Wars Rebels: Episode 1.14

Fire Across the Galaxy

Initial Thoughts: Well, here we are! The season one finale already! It's crazy! Seems like just last month The Clone Wars ended and we're already through a whole season of Rebels (regardless of how short it was... haha)! Well, I have to say this episode was really great! Amazing action, good suspense, good character development, awesome cameos that are soon to become regulars! It's all so exciting! haha

Star Wars Rebels: Episode 1.13

Rebel Resolve

Initial Thoughts: I loved this episode!! Rebels is growing to be a really great show! The character development is growing well, the stories are going deeper and lasting longer, and the story lines are getting (a bit) darker. Altogether, the show is going in a good direction, and the news we are hearing about future episodes only sounds better!

Week 21!

This Week's Episodes:

Sabotage

The Jedi Who Knew Too Much

To Catch a Jedi

The Wrong Jedi

I can't say enough how much I love these episodes.

And somewhat hate them at the same,

but that is the reason I love is so much!

It is such a well crafted story!

It was great seeing Ventress and Ahsoka

(My to favorite Clone Wars characters)

Working together, and the connections between them.

I was sad to see that it was Barriss who set Ahsoka up,

I always loved their friendship,

 but of course the part that was saddest was definitely the end.

The tears start coming every time 

as soon as it hits the "welcome back" scene.

You know she made the 'right' decision, 

but it doesn't make it any easier.

Okay, done with the emotions...

Next week starts season six!

Which is also really sad...

I have to say, by this time in the series, 

the idea of Maul was growing on me.

Still don't think he should have survived, 

but these episodes are definitely some of the best in the series.

I was really excited to watch these episodes again!

I'm really excited for next week though!

Week 19!!! Oh my goodness! Only five weeks left!

And then Rebels will be coming!

Secret Weapons

A Sunny Day in the Void

Missing in Action

Point of No Return

Another droid ARC. 

Although this one is better than some of the others.

Especially in animation, which was simply amazing!

Especially in the last episode with that awesome explosion! Haha

It was one of the better combinations of humor and action.

Although we all hoped to one day again see Gregor,

 but that would seem nearly impossible now that the series is over.

Maybe we'll get to see more of him in some other form.

Sorry I didn't get this one up until now!

I had a considerably busy weekend, and then I forgot about it....

I really love these episodes!

It was great to see Ahsoka help train the next generation.

Although, I do believe they changed the story of getting your crystal(s)

and lightsaber a little bit, but it was still all pretty cool.

Week 17!!

Brothers

Revenge

A War on Two Fronts

The Soft War

Tipping Points

So, I'm still not happy about Maul coming back necessarily;

but I do now realize that it is canon, and I enjoy these episodes.

My favorite part is definitely when Kenobi and Ventress work together though.

It was just too awesome! Haha

All around though, the episodes were really well made.

The story and character development were great.

It would seem that the first half of most seasons were not quite too par with

any of the second halves.

Although I enjoyed the Onderon ARC, it held with this pattern.

It was a good ARC as a whole, but some of the lines were a little corny.

I still enjoy the episodes though.

Week 16!! 

This Week's Episodes:

Deception

Massacre

Bounty

This is such a great line up of episodes!

First of, one of the better four-part-arcs 

with Cad Bane, Obi-Wan in disguise, a bounty hunter showdown, 

and so many other awesome things! Haha

And then two of my favorite episodes of the series.

Before these two episodes I really wanted Ventress to die...

But, by the end of Massacre, I was glad she didn't,

And by the end of Bounty, she became one of my favorite characters!

I mean, how much better of story telling can there be 

than to change someone from your least favorite character 

to your one of you favorite characters in just two episodes?! Haha

So excited to be continuing the plan!

Star Wars the Clone Wars 24 Week Plan

Week 15 of the plan!

So, I decided to postpone the plan a few weeks

since I was getting ready to go out of town, out of town,

and then the Fourth of July holiday.

So here we are starting back up again this week!

This Week's Episodes:

Kidnapped

Slaves of the Republic

Escape from Kadavo

A Friend in Need

I really love these episodes!

The Kidnapped ARC takes us to a place in Star Wars 

that we haven't really been before: slavery.

We've seen slaves in Star Wars, but we haven't really explored the subject much.

I thought these episodes did a really good job of showing 

how the Republic tried to keep it outlawed, 

how Palpatine clearly built his empire through slaves, 

and how the Zygerrians operate.

Not to mention the awesome for-shadowing of Episode VI!

And of course I love A Friend in Need!

Ahsoka, Luxsoka, a winter planet, and Death Watch.

That's all I have to say!

So, yeah, sorry about my absence!

I just haven't had the time recently.

But it's business as usual now,

Week 14! So, I've been really busy the last two days...

I made the picture late Friday night, but fell asleep before posting

and I had no time whatsoever yesterday...

But, anyway, here it is.

This Week's Episodes:

Mercy Mission

Nomad Droids

Darkness on Umbara

Carnage of Krell

A LOT of people don't like the first two...

It's like the most stereotypical attributes of a Star Wars fan:

if the episode stars R2-D2 and/or C-3PO, then we must hate it?

I personally don't understand it...

The episodes may not be packed with action, 

but they still are well written, animated, and fun to watch.

It's the comic relief... Get a grip... haha

Sorry, but that's my opinion. There is not a Clone Wars episode that I don't like.

Of course, like any good fan, I do have my favorites!

And the Umbaran ARC would definitely have to include some of them!

Having waited since Season Two for another of it's kind,

we all, I think it's safe to say, thoroughly enjoyed the second four-part-ARC of the series.

Week 13!

Padawan Lost

Water War

Shadow Warrior

I have always really loved the first two in this list!

For one thing, Ahsoka is my favorite character if you guys didn't know that. haha

And, also, we got to see Chewbacca in his younger days!

And they worked together! I mean, how much cooler can you get? hahaha

Anyway, I wasn't too fond of the next four when they came out...

I actually probably gave Shadow Warrior 

a better review than the other three, for whatever reason.

But they've all grown on me since and the little peevish things about it no longer bother me.

In the end, I'm just excited to watch these awesome episodes again!

I especially love the scenery shots at the beginning of Water War!

Such great animation!

Week 12! Already half way through! Wow! haha

This Week's Episodes:

Overlords

Alter of Mortis

Ghost of Mortis

The Citadel

Counterattack

Citadel Rescue

Pretty much the entire second half of Season Three was amazing!

Many of the main characters got a great new updated look and the show had

awesome new story lines and action!

It was a turn for the better especially after many fans had disapproved of the first half.

I personally liked all of Season Three, but I do consider the second half a lot better.

I had another late night last night and I was just so exhausted

 so I'm posting this this morning. haha

I pretty much love all of these episodes. haha

Some are better than others, but they are all good, in my opinion.

I liked Ahsoka seeing another side of the Separatists:

the civil side. Plus I totally ship Luxsoka!

And I always love seeing what Padme is up too, 

and seeing her take matters into her own hands.

It was very interesting seeing Ventress's past and origins on this show.

I also really enjoyed Savage, although I was, at the time, disappointed to see Maul was coming.

The duel between Ventress, Savage, and Dooku was amazing though!

Week 10 of the plan!

This Week's Episodes:

ARC Troopers

Sphere of Influence

Evil Plans

Hostage Crisis

Hunt for Ziro

Honestly, with the exception of Sphere of Influence,

 these are really my favorite episodes...

Don't get me wrong, I love them and love watching them,

they just wouldn't be considered for my top picks.

But I am excited to watch them again, and Bane is of course a plus!

I also loved seeing Baron Papanoida;

especially when he pulled out his blaster at the bar fight!

Totally awesome and unexpected! haha

And of course Echo and Fives were amazing!

I just feel like the episodes themselves were kind of lacking,

but still good! :)
